Raging Blast Glitches

Post by SparkyPantsMcGee » Tue Mar 02, 2010 1:21 pm

So today I was floating around youtube(as I always do when I'm bored) and I stumbled upon a handful of Glitches in raging blast:

Fusion Glitch:

Transformation Glitch(watch the whole video):

Multiple Vegeta Glitch:

I guess Spike never bothered to play test their game. I was wondering if anyone here has run into a major glitch like some of these while playing the game yourself.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

As I noted in my review, the one major glitch I ran into a few times was in the multi-character fights when you defeat one and another is supposed to come out... and they never would. The first opponent would just lay there on the ground, defeated, and never trigger the next one. I've seen people say that it can be caused/fixed by powering up all the way and then powering down, landing your character on the ground, etc... but no, not in my cases. They just never came out no matter what I did or did not do. Had to reset the matches.

Wow that's really annoying.

Yeah, Raging Blast is an amazing game, the only thing that brings it down is the glitches.

The camera is incredibly broken. It's rare I have a match where the camera doesn't completely lose sight of the opponent... Like five times. I'm not sure it's even worth the trouble on completing the campaign. I've even had cases where the camera loses sight of my character.

I find those glitches to be hilarious.

Just finished ordering the game off of GameStop's site for $36, so I can't go wrong there.

Budokai 3 had a similar issue (not sure if it was fixed in the GH release, haven't tried yet) with the spaceship capsules. If you had the spaceship capsule on either Freeza or Cooler and beat their 'normal' state with an ultimate that blew up the planet the game would hang and their Cyborg/Metal version would never come down. I forget if any destructable stage would do it or just Namek, though....

<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

The amount of glitches reminds me of the Legacy of Goku series... only those were helpful.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

All the more reason why I'm glad I don't own the game. ;)
After Budokai 3, the lazyness of the developers has disgusted me. It's just a bunch of dudes in a studio rushing DBZ games out the window.
