Information about 3 "confused" DBZ Videogame Soundtracks...

Post by Bankotu » Thu Mar 25, 2010 6:13 pm

Hi everyone! :D I'm from Argentina, I'm new on this forum and i have questions about 3 DBZ Videogame Soundtracks.
I was looking for information, but found nothing about it (sorry, but my english is not very good...):

1) What is the difference between these 2 discs?

A) DragonBall Z - Game Music: Awakening Edition - Kakusei Hen (Original Soundtrack)
Image

B) DragonBall Z Chō Gokū Den – Kakusei Hen Super Goku Den 2 (Original Soundtrack)

2) Anyone have information or know where to get the disc B?

3) Another this cover is an official soundtrack? or was never released an original soundtrack of "DragonBall Z Sparking!"?

If it's official, again, someone has information about this CD?

I'm hopeful that someone knows.
Of course, thank you for your help. :D

Byes!

First It'd like to say it's Super Gokū Den, not Chō Gokū Den.

I think they may be the same soundtrack, but one being a re-print. I'm not entirely sure.

And I believe that Sparking! OST cover is fan-made. In Japan, the Sparking! games used music from the TV series, so it wouldn't make sense to give it it's very own OST.

There was no Super Gokuden 2 soundtrack.

And A and B are both the Dragon Ball Z Game Music Awakening Edition CD since they have very similar cover arts. B might be a reprint or something.

Kakusei Hen contained music from Super Gokuh-Den 2, though.

Thanks for answering! =)

But I remember I found the cover B on this page http://abc.hyotan.de/index.php
There was the name I wrote for the disc B, and its track listing with 14 tracks, unlike the disc A which has 20 tracks.
So do not think it's just a reprint...
Unfortunately the page no longer exists... even so, you think?

Sorry, I don't know.

There might have been a "special edition" soundtrack with more tracks or something.

According to the DaizEX music database, the first one has six tracks that are from UB22 instead of Super Goku Den 2. Maybe the second one is the same thing without those?

The first two listed are the same album. They're both arranged soundtracks for the SNES RPG game 'Super Gokuden 2'.
