Wow... I'm excited!

Nappa sounds quite different when he says "That's more like it boy!"

Goku's scream at the end sounds entirely different from his usual stuff. He sounds like he's trying to style his fighting sounds to be more like Nozawa, but with a (obviously) lower pitch. Instead of his usual "RRGGRAAAGH!" he sounded more "Kkyaah!!"

Piccolo sounds more like Zoro than ever...

Was that Vegeta who said "Keep your eyes on the battlefield, you'll only have one shot at this?" I can't really tell. If so, then he's really toned down his voice...

Also, I can't really tell (haven't seen a whole lot of these episodes in Japanese for a while) but are there any lines of dialogue from the Japanese version in the trailer, or are these all trailer lines?

Yeah, Nappa sounds much better. Not sure what to think of Clinkenbeard, but it's better than the alternative was, I suppose. Sabat's speaking much, much more naturally as Piccolo now and seems to be Heath Ledger-ing up his Vegeta. Still annoyed he's doing Lord Kami and Mr. Popo, though. Espicially with so many voice actors at his disposal.

Why does Funi hate the UK?

Wow, this sounded pretty good. I didn't understand the appeal before, but I'm starting to come around to the idea of watching both the subbed and dubbed version.

They don't have the rights for the UK. Why advertise a product to people who can't buy it?

Well, FUNi kinda took a step backwards with the "ONG RAWK MUSIC TRAILER" instead of something like what they're doing with the DBox trailers, but as there tends to be plenty of electric guitar going on in the Kai soundtrack, it's a bit more appropriate than it was with Z.

The half a second we got to hear of Gohan sounds nice. I have high hopes for him. The rest of the lines and the way the cast sounds from the tiny clips we heard sound pretty neat as well. This is partially due to me being softer on the dub thanks to DBZ Abridged imitating the dub voices, though.

What really stuck out, though, were the lines themselves. They sound like actual memorable Japanese lines from the show translated as best as possible when dubbing into English!

All of this is based on tiny clips, though. I'm not saying anything definitive until it hits TV or I have the BD (whichever comes first).

Oh, and Nappa sounded much more like the roughneck he is.

Oh wow. Strait's Kuririn sounded great! I never particularly had a problem with dub Kuririn (barring lame lines), but that "everyone's dying and I don't know how to stop it!" line... this is one hell of an improvement!

That sounds like something Piccolo would say, probably to Gohan or Kuririn when trying to go after Nappa's tail.

Thank god the script seems more accurate.

I can't even watch the dub on the Dragonboxes because of the mangled script.

Yeah. I've had the morbid curiosity to try that a few times, too. At least they're trying to get it right with Kai.

Don't do it! I have, and it isn't worth it, at all. And if you turn on the subtitles while watching the dub, it's even worse. :x

Ugh ...

Can someone PULEEEESE upload the Trailer. I f****** hate FUNi's "stupid countries which aren't the US" bann. I mean, it's okay for full episodes, but for trailers?! Come on!

I would, but I've already got two strikes against my YouTube account (one for a Season Four clip where Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan, and the other the Season Three trailer).

Download it, then upload it to MegaUpload and post the link here. It'll save you trouble.

The secret is to not tag your videos and don't mention Dragonball. Anyway, I'm actually sort of liking Schemmel's Goku in this trailer. He sounds like he's trying.

"This video contains content from Funimation Entertainment, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."
Yep, those guys are officially gay. We can't watch trailers for products we're willing to buy... that's plain... retarded. :?
I've even sent them an angry e-mail once and they replied within a couple of weeks saying it wasn't their fault...

Anyways, if anyone can upload it somewhere UNofficially, many of us would be real thankful.

It was really off-putting hearing such a different voice coming from Gohan.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I'm really liking Kuririn's voice.

I'm pretty sure that is supposed to be Vegeta from the part where he is mocking Piccolo and Kuririn's plan to attack Nappa.
