Basically I just wanted to share a fic I first wrote in '01 and rewrote in '08, though it took me until now to do the final touchups and get it posted. I'm fairly proud of how it came out because I've had it with me so long and now I can actually like it again as a piece of writing.

Chapter one is the intro, chapter two is the story. It's told as mythology, so even the storyteller doesn't know how much is true and how much is embellished by generations of storytellers anymore.
