Off of the blurays and not the terrible quality ones that have been on youtube? I can't find links on there, but I'd be surprised since I just got my bluray today and it shipped Saturday.

You are not the only one, there are others who got it early and ripped it. But I believe yours is the highest quality one and the only one ripped from Blu-Ray rather than DVD, from what I can see. This belongs in one of the other big threads on the Kai dub rather being its own new one.

I have yet to see the intro with the Z logo though.

Ah I see, I'm sorry.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that "Z" logo is only going to be on the broadcast. I'm not 100% on that, I remember reading it on one of the threads here.

This isn't a high quality video, but it does show the Z logo.

What I don't understand is why if Piccolo is on their side in this why Gohan is absent from the shot in the intro?
Also Launch is there in the outro? Say wuuuuut?

From what was said in other threads, episode 1 has the japanese logo, while the following episodes have the Z one.

FUNi slipped and didn't alter the logo for the opening sequence in episode 1. The remaining episodes use the Z logo only.

Yeah, why did Toei even do that? She doesn't even appear in Kai.

The intro and outro was probably made prior to the actually cutting of footage?

I think they probably knew beforehand that they were cutting out filler, but I dunno.

Because everything up to before the "Love and glory/Kiai de" part of the song seems to reflect a time between the first episode and when the Saiyans arrive. That's why, just after that shot of them (without Gohan) flying into the air, they show 4-year-old Gohan.
Right after that, it seems to reflect after Gohan's been trained hence him sparring with his dad and slicing at the screen and such.
EDIT: Fixed a couple typos.

I think it's good to have a topic just for this so people don't have to search through 3 or 4 massive topics to see these.
Also, I still can't figure what that Kamehameha line in the ED is supposed to be. "Live your life like a Kamehameha"?

LOLOLOLOLOLautotune. I guess it matches the trashy techno music of the outro though.
