I know what it pertains to in that game but I swear I have heard that beat for something else, I can't remember if it is even Dragonball related.

Yamamoto is well known for unofficially arranging many songs. I notice him taking his influences from bands such as Stratovarius and Pink Floyd, or movies such as the Terminator.
For this one sadly, I can't really find anything that it's similar to, perhaps somebody else could be of more assistance.
