GT or Z?

Which ending do you prefer GT or Z? I prefer GT!

To be honest, I was never really a fan of GT's ending. But Z's was so fucking stupid and out of the left field that I have to put GT's over it.

I'll admit it, while I don't like Z's original ending, I do enjoy gt's ending as it actually talked about dragon balls in the final arc and gave out a life lesson about it. Which is why I was glad when Toriyama made a new manga ending for the series pointing out the dragon balls.

GT's, if only for the compilation of memorable scenes/battles. But one thing I'd like to remind everyone about Z's ending...

Goku could've visited his friends and family at any time he wanted to. And really, how difficult would it be locate Goku and Uub while they were training ("not very", would be my guess)? He could've taken Uub as far as the Lookout for all we know. I don't know why the departure with Uub gets as much flak as it does.

Actually, I'm going to pick neither and go with NMZ's ending where Goku does train Uub (and train Z as well), but continues to live with the rest of the Son family (or at least it appears that way). :3

I also liked how NMZ Pan looked more how I would expect an older Pan to look. :3

I thought his intention was to leave the ending low-key, as if the story was still going? Probably so more could be left in the imagination of the readers.

I've written this multiple times before, but:

Z is the better ending for Goku's character.

GT is the better ending for the Dragon Balls, and therein the series as a whole.

Z's ending was more of a cliffhanger than an ending.....GT ending was sad and nostalgic

Anime is only adaptation of original story, whatever....

I prefer the original ending and like to believe that the revisionist history ending in the kanzenban never existed.

I just don't like revisionism. The ending itself is generally okay, but it's not the *real* ending.

GT's ending was really flashy and over-the-top. Throw some scenes from the series around, showcase some "next generation" characters for fanwank, and Goku flying away with "The End" over it. It wasn't terrible, but it was the definition of "stock ending."

I have to put the manga's ending over it, simply because it's not a cliché.
