What's your favourite opening/closing sequence?
It can be from any dub. My favourites are 'We Were Angels', 'Machine Gun', 'Yeah, Break, Care, Break', 'Dragon Ball Opening and Ending (English)' and this opening:

Probably one of the best pieces of Original English dub music ever produced. I also enjoy the English movie ending which is a remix of the opening aI just mentioned. So what's yours?

On the Japanese side of things, I'll have to go with "Head-Cha-La" and "We Used To Be Angels".

Anyway. I love Don't You See?, Cha-La Head-Cha-La, We Were Angels, Sabitsuita Machine Gun, and Yeah! Break! Care! Break! the most.
I dislike the dub's cover of Don't You See, because the main melody was removed for no reason at all, so the new main melody was originally backing harmony, or whatever you call it. It is incredibly obvious that those notes were not intended to be a main melody, and really messes up the song. Machine Gun's dub cover was decent, but suffered from the Japanese verison of Dragon Soul's main problem of having the notes not held long enough, which makes the song rather weak. That is the main reason I like Sean's Dragon Soul over the Japanese one, although Jerry Jewell's Yeah! Break! Care! Break! was very weak and boring.

The second set of Z themes, although it's not hard to be better than Cha-La and Zenkai.
GT endings 1-3 and The Jump Special's "Orange Hero" are also quite good. Where's this level of greatness for Kai's themes?

We Were Angels is definitely one of my favorite endings, but for openings I would have to say either Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku or Dragon Soul, they both sound the same in my opinion.

Gosh, I don't know. Dragon Ball music is just so nostalgic and beautiful, that it's hard to choose.
I loved "Rock The Dragon" when I was little and I did kind of grow up with it... but I don't have much tolerance for it now.
"Cha-La-Head-Cha-La" is a classical piece, indeed. As you can see from my signature, I really like it. The phrase below means a lot to me and it is also something like a personal motto for me these days. Anyways, "We Gotta Power" and "We Were Angels" are gorgeous, too. "Dan Dan" and both GT endings ("Blue Velvet" and I forgot the other one's name) are pretty neat themselves. And getting to Kai, I like everything so far: "Dragon Soul" (which you can occasionally catch me singing when I'm happy
), "Yeah Break Care Break" (not a big fan of it, but I still find it enjoyable to an extent) and "Kokoro no Hane" (which is very pleasant to listen to).
And there is also an opening that has a special place in my heart, because it was really well made and I also associate it with the old days when I used to watch DBZ on TV. It's the Italian version, which is called "What Is My Destiny Dragon Ball". I'm not Italian myself and I don't speak Italian, but this is truly a beautiful piece of work. Take a look for yourselves:

I have two favourite openings, "We Gotta Power" and "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku", I love those songs so much. For endings, I would have to choose, "We Were Angels" and "Yeah Break Care Break".
Re: What's your favourite opening/closing sequence?
"Rock the Dragon" and DBZ "International" openings which were on the TV. Still don't understand why they never put them on DVD even as an extra on the season sets. That would have been cool.
Next to get; Leged of Saiyan figures and Freeza's force
If anyone sees
Any of the Legend of Saiyan line going cheapish
Or any other Banpresto DBZ figure
If anyone has a cooler steelbook dvd that wants to sell it (prefer new but used is fine) when/if the dragon box movies comes out contact me

I couldn't choose; every Japanese song in the show was great. The real question has to be which was the worst.

Re: What's your favourite opening/closing sequence?
So is this thread about the songs and their animation sequences, or just the songs? Because most of the posts make it sound like the latter, and if so, this needs to be moved to the music forum. But if not, I know I would love to talk about the associated animations.

Re: What's your favourite opening/closing sequence?
Which one is my favorite? Coincidentally, the one we have never gotten in any of the North American releases. That being the second intro to Dragonball. Same song, different animation. I like the characters all parachuting at the beginning, and Teen Goku riding the Nimbus over ponds, fields, and a thunder and lightning sky with Tenkaichi Budokai wisps in the background. Then it closes with Piccolo Daimao's silhouette and Goku landing from a jump off Nimbus with the power pole drawn.
That intro had it all, and it is a real shame that we never got it in any of our Dragonball releases.

"Of" =/= "Have"
Contractions:
-Should have = Should've
-Could have = Could've
-Would have = Would've
The heck does "should of" even mean anyway? Think about what those two words mean individually, and then try to read them back to back in a sentence and make sense of it. Are you forming a prepositional phrase, is "should" a part of a larger grouping, or are you just typing random words based on how you think you hear them used verbally? Perhaps take a moment to contemplate this, and see if it becomes as mind jarring for you to look at as it does for me..

I find almost every Dragon Ball Z JP song to be incredibly silly. The only DB opening songs that I actually really like are the the two FUNi Dub DBZ BGMs, and Funi's dub version of the Dragon Ball theme song.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!
