Dragon Ball Opening and Ending Performances.

Post by SonEric84 » Mon Jul 19, 2010 8:31 pm

Just came across these and thought they would be cool to share...

Makafushigi Adventure by Hiroki Takahashi with an introduction by Mayumi Tanaka:

Romantic Ageru Yo by Ushio Hashimoto:

I believe the Makafushigi video may have been posted here before, but I don't think I've ever seen Ushio Hashimoto perform live. Anyone know when this took place or what kind of show it was?

Edit: Also just found a cool performance of Ishihara Shinichi doing a cover of Makafushigi...

Being a good fan of Ishihara Shinichi, I thank you for that clip of him.

Thanks for uploading these! It was interesting to see what the singers actually look like.

No problem guys! I really enjoy Mr. Shinichi's songs as well. Have you seen Bamboo Blade? Ishihara Shinichi does the theme song for a Sentai parody show within the series which is quite entertaining as he does a lot of themes for real Sentai shows.

Yeah, this was my first time seeing Ishihara Shinichi and Ushio Hashimoto.

Funi has the whole series uploaded to youtube. Dubbed and subbed..and the dub is actually quite awesome.

I'm still curious as to what kind of event those DB songs were performed at.

Cool. I'll go check out the dub (as long as it still has the insert song). :D

Yep, unlike DBZ (well, until recently), they use the original music, so it's in there quite a few times. I'm not too sure how early it shows up though, I think within the first few episodes, but if not definitely more often later on. Just so we don't derail the thread and keep it DB, PM and let me know what you think of the show when you check it out!
