Anyone here with the Region 2 Dragon Box Z actually watch...

What I mean to ask is, for you whom own the Region 2 Dragon Box Zs and don't understand Japanese still watch them? I mean I can understand that you would, because we've been watching the Funimation subtitled DVDs for years and by now you would know the gist of what was going on. I mean, I even watched my R2 DVD singles and muttle through because I know what's going on from the subtitles on the US release.

My knowledge of Japanese is relatively limited, but yes. I watch my DragonBoxes as often as I watch my other anime DVDs. If anything, they've helped me pick up bits of the language here and there. Then again I've watched the show in languages I wasn't fluent in for over a decade, so I guess it doesn't faze me like it might some others.

As I've said before, it's not like it's a hard show to follow. If we were talking Serial Experiments Lain or Texhnolyze on the other hand... ;p

From what I've understood, some people have ripped the footage and added subtitles to them. I believe that Daimao's subtitles are floating around the internet somewhere so it's not an impossibility.
But generally I don't know, since I don't own the Region 2 Dragon Boxes.

I can't speak any Japanese, but that doesn't stop me from watching my Dragon Box: The Movies set.

I have the Season Sets as well. So I guess the problem is getting the sub file and reburning the discs with it on there. The other thing is the issue of sync and whatnot... I wish there was a tutorial somewhere.

All you do is use video editing software, since both the season sets and the Dragon Box are unedited, make sure the first line matches the first few words that are spoken and then you're done.
