This is something I used to do on my old account, where I dub songs to intentionally sing about whatever is on the video. On those I wouldn't get rid of the Japanese vocals so I did the same here.

Vocals:

So, these are improvised. I've always wanted to do one for YBCB, so I did one for Dragon Soul too. Unlike the actual dubs, I don't care if it sounds like shit. These are supposed to be odd.

It wasn't so much it was odd as it wasn't funny. Saying what's on the screen isn't funny, it's the interpretation. Ex. In WeeklyTubeShow's "Krillin, you win", Krillin says what Trunks and Piccolo are doing, but differently than what the show originally made you interpret is as. While this isn't the best example, you're supposed to take what's on the screen and interpret it in a different and funny way. Do you get what I mean?

Oh, I'm well aware of that. I do what you're saying with the Dragon Parody Z videos. I used to always make these say exactly what's there on the screen parodies before. I think the WeeklyTubeShow example was a perfect example for what you're trying to say, so I got what you meant.
