Japanese version of Dragon Box 1 on eBay! ...For $400.
Japanese version of Dragon Box 1 on eBay! ...For $400.
Found this while surfing around on eBay for good deals on DBZ products.:
http://cgi.ebay.com/DRAGON-BALL-Z-DRAGO ... 4aa5f1d382
From looking at the screenshots, It appears that this box set comes with EVERYTHING. The Goku action figure, ALL of the DVDs, and even the Dragon Book in full Japanese! The only problem? The $400 price tag. Talk about it being rare!
So I ask Daizex... Would you fork down $400 for this once in a lifetime deal? Because I would!

DBZ bootlegs have the movie 9 cover with the pioneer movie 2 description on the back and the disc actually has a Japanese soap opera in MEPG2.

Oh this again.
1. I have these episodes already, from Funimation's DBox releases.
2. I don't have $400 lying around, could never afford the damn thing anyway.

Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Dragon Box JAP Vol.1: No english subs (or others subs in a language that I understand) and a very high price. It does have some toys that are not in the American Box.
Dragon Box USA Vol.1-4: English subs and a much more affordable price (about $40 x 4 boxes = about $160). Compared to the japanese box, it basically has the same quality, all things considered.
So, to me, since I`m not made out of money and there is an alternative, I would never go for the japanese box. But if any of you want it and can afford it, go for it.

If I had $400, I'd buy a PS3 and a game or three.
If I had another $400... I'd either buy more games, or other various shit.
If I had another $400, I'd probably save up for a new car.
Several batches of $400 later, THEN I'd buy this. This auction will be long gone by then. So...

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Do Japanese really make that much more money than Americans? Either that, or people just don't want to admit that it's a waist of money for any other langueage besides Japanese.

That's still less than half the original price. Less than I paid for mine too, I believe.AnimeMaakuo wrote:it's at least $440.00 or more. Read his description. Shipping & Tax. Don't get fooled by this.

I might interested, if, it were DBox Z 2. I already watched, too many, Saiya-jin and Freeza arcs stuff.

Unless you're a mega collector, not worth it. Because really, with the Dragon Box releases over here in America, getting this for the DVD's themselves is just unnecessary.

Wow. Once upon a time, $900 would be considered a steal for this. I agree with everyone, but the serious collector in me is screaming at me to buy it. I really wish I wasn't tight with money right now (September and October were big months for me, lots of birthdays, some iPods, expensive clothes/gifts, and my money situation isn't looking good), I'd really love to get this. Oh well :/

If it was all 5 boxes for 400 a piece all at once, I'd have it right now, but I don't want just 1 out of 5.

He means that since the other ones might never get this low, he doesn't want to get it and not be able to afford the rest.
