Dragonball... Y?
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Who released this vhs tape, and did they do any more tapes after the stupid Harmony Gold adaptations?
If they didn't who did? Like for Z/GT.
I really don't want to go looking for myself. I looked up all the stuff for the DVD's and don't feel like digging again.

Here's another
Youtube clip with better audio for the opening than Meri's site.

And it appeared on XHGC 1998

I think it's 'cause "y" means "and" in Spanish, but it's sure a weird place to put it.

I'm still kinda shocked that Harmony Gold got the textless version of Dragon Ball OP2. That isn't available even in the Dragon Boxes!

Yeah, the PSA specials have *most* of OP2 creditless, but there are still a few scenes that aren't there (Shenlong being summoned, Gokû flying on the kinto-un away from Shenlong, the whole scene with Yajirobe, Piccolo Daimaô's hand).
This YouTube video I did puts most the scenes from the two PSAs together, but as you can see there's still a few scenes that aren't available creditless.

There is a snapshot of Goku in Opening 2 on the one of the early Funi VHSs of Dragon Ball.

The dubbed versions have translated credits, so I assume that they have access to the textless videos...

Oh man! This brings back memories, I remember watching this in local TV. It was completely weird to have Goku being called "Zero" or Yamacha being called "Zenaki".
The local TV station would --for a time-- have in its programming both this dub and the one based off of the original japanese version.

There's a reason why the FUNimation releases only have OP1, you know. Toei never gave them a textless OP2.

Could've sworn it was Zedaki...and what channel was it?
