Super Buu is stronger in both the anime, and manga. Goku mention inside of Buu if they try to fight Super Buu that they would get killed quicky, and it seems like they where not too worry about fighting Kid Buu though.

Super Buu is weaker in the anime though, since it's stated like 3 times that Kid Buu is the most POWERFUL Buu, or something like that. And yes that comes from the ORIGINAL version of the anime.

Yeah, this is where a lot of people say Akira Toriyama had something to do with it. Is it true that Akira Toriyama helped Toei Animation with the fusion and Boo material like some people say?

Super Buu is...I dunno...vaguely between Super Saiyan Gotenks and Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks (it's hard to tell with Buus), and Goku told Vegeta that they'd be killed right away if they tried to fight Super Buu themselves. So yeah, ignoring the filler lines, Super Buu should be a lot more powerful. Honestly, a surprising amount more powerful considering all he did was eat himself.

SSJ3 Gotenks. When Super Buu became bored of fighting Gotenks as a SSJ, he easily took him down in a few seconds.

When he fought the SSJ3 one near the end of their fight, they were close in power, however Gotenks had a slight upper hand.

Sort of. Buu gets stronger because he is more evil now, as far I understand. But it's quite confusing.

Well, not disagreeing with the fact that he's stronger than Goku by a large amount, I'm willing to say that Super Buu was actually stronger than Ssj3 Gotenks as well. If memory serves, after he absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo, Buu made the comment that he had come up with the plan of absorbing the two of them from when he first sensed Gohan's ki on Kaioushin's planet, and that he went to such great lengths to absorb them because he didn't want anyone stronger than him to exist. To me, in knowing that Gohan was going to eventually arrive, as well as the fact that he had devised that plan a good while ago suggests that he might have been intentioinally holding back some during his fight with Gotenks in order to not kill him. After all, outside of Gotenks, there'd be no one powerful enough to absorb to put him above Gohan's strength.

Darkprince, I gotta disagree. Nature calls, so I'll re-post from an earlier thread:

Fact is, Gotenks was stronger than Buu, because he out-performed Buu, and nothing suggests that either of them held back. Buu was actually trying to fight back, and still ended up having the same amount of power -- if not, more -- thrown right back at him. IIRC, Piccolo mentions how Buu's mental state is on the fritz because he's never fought anyone with strength like Gotenks', and that he was desperate / going all-out.

When Super Buu's rattling off every thought that went through his mind to Gohan, did he mention anything about handling Gotenks with kid gloves? I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty darn sure that he didn't. And like I mentioned before, it wouldn't have done any good for Buu to allow someone that's supposedly weaker than himself to inflict as much damage as he did (the Volleyball, the Death Missile Chain, the mouth blast, and the melee attacks near the end). If the pink guy wanted to stall, he could've done so without seemingly losing his battle for no apparent reason.

Shin Boo is stronger in the Manga, for the Anime it's hard to tell because you have SSjin 3 Goku being dominated by Bootenkusu, who is weaker than Boohan, and then Chibi Boo being called the strongest Boo. There's also the lines from the Manga where Goku tells Bejita that they don't stand a chance against Shin Boo but not being afraid of Chibi Boo at all. But the Anime-only statements about Chibi Boo being the strongest override all that I guess.

I know but if he was just as strong as Super Buu 3 (Buuhan) or stronger then Goku would have to fuse with Vegeta to fight Buu. And I believe Goku said the same thing about getting killed by Super Buu inside of him in the original Japanese anime as well IIRC?
