Maybe they could make a Marathon Mode and skip the filler so that it just shows the canon scenes.

Sadly, the BGM wouldn't allow that idea to work. :(

That wouldn't work.

People have their own perception on what is canon and what is not. People would debate what should've been left in, or taken out to no ends. If you are talking about following manga canonosity, then watch Kai like Tanooki said.

Also, like linkdude said, BGM wouldn't allow that to work. Plus many canon scenes have filler in them, which would create issues. (Gregory for instance)

Even if it did work, I wouldn't be interested in it. I love the filler.

As Tanooki pointed out... there is Dragon Ball Kai, which is basically that. The new audio for it only exists because splicing it would not work.
