How did Mr. Popo gather the Dragon Balls in a day?
Yeah, I know about plot convenience and all that, but how did Mr. Popo gather all 7 Dragon Balls in a day, without a radar?

Perhaps God knows the locations of all the dragon balls, considering he's the one who made them. It wouldn't be too far fetched to say he just sent Mr. Popo down on his magic carpet to go pick them up. Still, I'm disappointed there's no filler showing this...Piccolo Daimao wrote:Yeah, I know about plot convenience and all that, but how did Mr. Popo gather all 7 Dragon Balls in a day, without a radar?

Yeah, you're probably right. I just thought it was somewhat suspect in itself, seeing as at times when the Z-Warriors needed the DBs, like to revive people villains had killed, God never came down and said, "Hey, I know where they all are!"Kiyza wrote:Perhaps God knows the locations of all the dragon balls, considering he's the one who made them. I agree that Kami probably knows where the dragon balls are and can telepathically relay directions to Mr. Popo as he goes.
Though I can't wait to see how Mr. Popo collects them in Abridged. :3

It makes sense that Kami could know where the balls were, but they made a big deal out of retrieving the Dragon Radar in the Buu saga. I guess you could argue that Bulma and Goku didn't know, but Piccolo probably should have. Then again, they could always have asked Uranai Baba to tell them where the balls were, so maybe Bulma was overreacting a bit either way.

Is it sure that he collected in just a day? I mean, he could have prepared them after he showed Kami's ship to Bulma

Kami was dead at that point, and the dragon balls were ordinary stones. That would make it pretty hard.Fox666 wrote:Is it sure that he collected in just a day? I mean, he could have prepared them after he showed Kami's ship to Bulma

Since he collected it without the radar, I don't think it makes any difference if they are stones or not.
Re: How did Mr. Popo gather the Dragon Balls in a day?
That would kill the Kami explanation above, so the question becomes how Mr. Popo found them without a dragon radar or Kami's help. I guess he could have asked Uranai Baba where they all were? Or maybe Popo's just clairvoyant himself.

Popo's flying carpet took him to the Dragon Balls.

The Dragonballs know better. Popo doesn't go looking for them, they go looking for Popo.
Re: How did Mr. Popo gather the Dragon Balls in a day?
Yeah Kami had to know where they were or Popo had a radar(although it's never seen). I'm just one to believe that Kami knew where they were. Although it seems strange and unlikely there's nothing that indicates that he didn't.

I think this answers your question pretty nicely.Chuquita wrote:I agree that Kami probably knows where the dragon balls are and can telepathically relay directions to Mr. Popo as he goes.

Kami probably can look for them from the Heavenly Realm. I don't think he knows them because he created them but because he can look and find them.

Yea, I would think it's pretty much like your Mom telling you where she hid all the Easter eggs.
