DragonBox Movie 12 With FUNimation Audio Clip...

Post by Tanooki Kuribo » Mon Dec 27, 2010 6:42 pm

So, a huge snowstorm has hit my area today. I was in the house for hours, I got so bored I ripped the audio from the FUNimation dub of DBZ movie 12 and put it on top of the DragonBox version of movie 12. I uploaded a clip on youtube if anyone is interested. Keep in mind this is youtube quality so it's really only to get a general idea of what the combination might look like.

Very awesome. FUNimation really needs to put out Dragon Box: The Movies.

Looks so great! :3
And wow does Movie 12 take me back when I watch a clip from it.
(I've also been hit by the same monster-snowstorm; stuck at home all day! @_@ )

I should really go look up who did the voice direction on Funi's dub of that movie; even though I'm more of a Japanese version fan now, I still really liked the dub's acting in Movie 12.
On hiatus.

^Agreed. I love Sabat's Vegeta in that movie. Or, at the very least, the script he was given.

Listening to that clip hurt my ears. God, Vegeta sounds terrible in the dub of that film...

I forgot how great Vegeta's voice was in that movie
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Hmmm I hope the quality is better on the actual DVDs because it looked very soft and washed out in that video. Maybe I'm used to the steelbook presentation too much. That aside man I really love movie 12. It's probably become my favorite. The art and animation as just so damn good. The dub quality is pretty good as well. Not Kai good but acceptable in the least. I hope the movies that had an original dub score (not one provided by wind-up recOrds) get at least a stereo mix included on the domestic dragon box movies set. Anyway thanks for sharing Tanook. I always enjoy checking out the stuff you make when you're bored!
