The Bakuman anime will start coming out on DVD and Blu-ray in 2011, and at least the first couple volumes will have a "Limited Edition" version that comes with a few extras, including a bonus CD. It sounds like there will be a mini-drama on each, along with some cover songs of other popular anime themes (which apparently fits in quite well with the story of the series, I guess being about two young aspiring manga-ka dudes...?).
Volume 1 (DVD / Blu-ray - CDJapan links) will include a cover of "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" (DBZ TV OP #1). Not sure who's performing it. Due out 26 January 2011.
Volume 2 (DVD / Blu-ray - CDJapan links) will include a cover of "Makafushigi Adobenchâ" (DBZ TV OP). Performed by Satoshi Hino. Due out 23 February 2011.
Anyone even remotely interested in picking these up? The first volume's doable for the price, but I really can't justify $60-70 on volume two of an R2 of a series I have no real interest in.
