Now I wasn't in the planning meeting for Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team, but I can only imagine that it went pretty much like this: "Dude, if we don't get some money in soon the company's gonna go under." "Hmmm, why don't we release another game with those cartoon guys with the big hair?" "But we've already released, like, 50 of those games..." "Don`t worry, no-one's going to notice." In all fairness the fighting itself is actually somewhat enjoyable, but the fact that there's a (badly written) novel's worth of dialogue between each one rather detracts from the excitement. You're better off waiting for one of next year's dozen Dragon Ball installments.

Hm. If they release these games to keep the company afloat, then Toei must have bi-annual going-out-of-business sales. So then 1998-2004 really were the best years Toei and Dragon Ball.
