Funny Reaction/In between gallery website proposal

The Funny Reaction Thread is one of the greatest things to ever grace this forum, but always seems to get flooded off the first page of the general section. Since it's gotten so huge, it's tough to navigate all 20+ pages just to look at all of the images.

How about we all try to get them all in one place, in an easy to navigate fashion? Let's make a website dedicated to it!

I'll cover all bandwidth and hosting by simply making a subdomain on 3G Kai and we can all pitch in by contributing hilarious screenshots and manga scans through an easy to use registered user interface. I'll mostly be using something like Gallery for the interface.

Here's what we should discuss:

Title of the site
The first thing I thought of was "Dragon Gallery Z" but I'm sure we can easily come up with something better.

Content
The gallery should mostly be dedicated "Funny Reaction Shots" and "Funny In-Between Shots". However, I'd also like to have "Funny Comics" made with the shots, "Worst of the Orange Bricks" which show the most terrible Orange Brick Shots, and anything else you guys could think of. Maybe even animated gifs too.

Gallery Requirements
DVD screencaps from the FUNi singles, Dragon Boxes, Orange Bricks, Other country DVD sources, etc, and manga only. No camera shots taken with a digital camera.

Users
In my honest opinion, I only want to allow daizex users to contribute since the potential of abuse would be incredibly high if ANYONE was allowed to join. The last thing I want is someone joining and flooding the gallery with NSFW material...

Posting Frequency
I don't require that users should have any quota and should post whenever they like, but try not to post only one image then leave. I want this to be an ongoing community effort.

I'd love that. Maybe even some of the most painful looking shots too.

Of course this will deviate from my original proposal to only do a "Funny Reaction/In Between Gallery", but why not get them all?

How would you feel about 'Most Violent Comic Panels'? I have been slowly going through the comic and cutting out panels I thought were cool/funny/etc. There's a lot more über violence than I remember being in the comic. O.o

The only issue is I didn't take exact note of the volume/chapter/page/panel number of each panel, so it's have to be organized by arc. >_<

Actually, having the orange bricks can be a gigantic contribution since you can take some of the worst looking orange brick shots like Nappa foaming at the mouth and the Vegeta Bukkake moments.

No rush, it's still gonna take some time to think up the name and to set up the actual site. But it'll be great to have them ready.

Anyone got suggestions for a name? I kinda want to name it after some variation of Roshi's Sunglasses.

I've decided on the simple title "Hermit Eyes" for the site. Now all I need to know is who will be serious in contributing when it's up?

I don't want the start the site and it dies within a week.

Don't worry about the design since I'll take care of all admin stuff. Just make sure you upload funny images! Once the design is finalized and we have a small amount of images, I'll announce the launch of the site.

Edit: Running into some technical difficulties, but I'll try to get them sorted out soon..
