Topic being locked for no apparent reason.

I just want to know why this topic about Coola supposedly lying was locked with no given reason what so ever.

I can't really see, why it would need to be locked, since it didn't look like any rules were being continously broken or anything of that sort.

Detailed answers will be much appreciated.

You are not entitled to any detailed answers regarding moderation on this forum. You are a guest, and subject to the administration of it and whatever happens along the way without further detail. That's not to say we won't be fair, but no-one owes anyone anything.

That being said, I didn't lock it, so I have no idea why it may have been. Sometimes threads are preemptively locked so moderators can appropriately dish out account warnings a little bit later on while doing necessary research, comparisons, etc. without a thread spiraling out of control in the mean time. If the moderator who locked it wants to pipe in, so be it. If not, so be it.

What you're not seeing is the former last post with a so-thinly-veiled-that-why-bother-veiling-it-at-all insult to another member's intelligence. The thread was stagnating even before that, and it was only going to get worse from there, so instead of making a big thing out of it, I just deleted that post and locked it.
