Toriyama must have draw over 500 hair styles in his mangaka career. The guys should take a few Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball volumes and use it as a reference.

His art style is rather... limited. Even the designs in character creator on Dragon Quest IX look very similar to a lot of the work he's done on previous iterations of the series, which in turn tends to look similar to Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball, and pretty much all of his other series. And the thing with the character creator in Dragon Ball Online is that is has the same number of options for each part for each race. While it's rather easy to come up with human hairstyles, I'd wager coming up with antennae designs for Namekians and Majin is a touch harder, considering we're only given one in the series itself.
Fox666 wrote:The game should allow you to make your character an humanoid animal like many Dragon Ball world. You should be able to choose a tiger (such as Captain Yellow) who would have the size of a person, or a cat (Puar and Karin) who would be relatively small, and even a dragon-like creature (Giran) who would have a natural ability to fly! I am sure that would creature a massive diversity beetween players characters.
I'd wager it would be a little difficult for a small character model like Puar to get worked in as a playable character in an MMO. I have difficulty imagining him able to attack, really. But for what its worth, there are pets that look like Puar in Dragon Ball Online.
Fox666 wrote:The game also should be loyal to the series. If you give your character big lips, it would looks like the Man Wolf dude, and if you make the skin black (I mean really black) he would end like Mr. Popo.

Also you should be able to make dwarf or gigantic characters, since that kind of stuff seems common in Dragon Ball.
Well, then you'd get western people picking on it because the game would be supposedly "racist." Anyone here have any familliarity with the Jynx controversy in Pokemon? It would kind of being the same situation if you ask me
Fox666 wrote:When it comes to gameplay, I like how Dragon Ball Online have the classes Martial Artist, Spiritualist and Engineer. But I would like to see less people flying in the skies, and motorcycles or spaceships being more necessary like in the beggining of Dragon Ball series.
For what it's worth, Engineers aren't playable at the moment, though there are NPCs who teach their skills in the game. Also, there's going to be an upcoming patch that's going to implement flying mechanics at some point in the future according to
this. It was translated by a Korean-fluent member of DBOCOM's forums, who translated it this way:
Its true that combat system has difference with original animation. but we need more time.
bcs this game basiccaly designed without aircombat system. so its too hard to modify and fix it.
but we decided to modify combat system even how long it takes.
Pardon the spelling, as it's copied and pasted.
The game should be limited in the battle powers. If your class is not a spiritualist-type, it should be very hard to learn Bukujutsu, for most characters it would require vehicles. Some bazukas and such should cause injuries for the players.
Well, there's also the issue of what exactly having the skill be hard to learn would entail. A special quest? A high level? In an MMO, people meet those requirements in large numbers. And also, again I'll throw it out there, that enemies with guns can damage you in Dragon Ball Online.
