What works in Europe?

Post by songohan619 » Sat Feb 19, 2011 9:05 am

I know i`ve made some threads before, about some specific items, but now, i want to make a list of ALL DVDs\BluRays that work in Europe:
Dragonball Z Remastered Season Sets
The Funimation movie singles
Dragon Ball Z singles
The remastered GT green bricks

The list will be updated, if someone can tell me what works.

From my experience the DVDs that work are:
-The Funimation movie singles
-Dragon Ball Z singles work
Also:
-The remastered DragonBall Z orange bricks
-The remastered GT green bricks work

What doesn't work are:
-Double feature steel book DVDs
-The remastered DragonBall original series box sets (blue bricks)
-DragonBall Kai box sets
-And DragonBoxes

But still, in 2011, I would think that most European anime fans would have a multi-region DVD player. I got a really good multi-region player for £25 on Amazon UK.

I haven’t tried the Blu-rays, though.

*Checks DVDS*

As dante said, Movie single DVDs and Remastered Sets are Region 2, Dragon Boxes are not. Silly reverse-import (Japan) fearing Toei... :x

Just like Dragon Ball since Chapter #4.

Does the complete GT brick work?

Disabling the region lock is pretty easy on most players. Just google it, usually you just have to type in a code.
