My takes on Dr Lychee

Post by Ringworm128 » Sun Feb 27, 2011 7:36 pm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1JujNVXjSA I was trying to make him seem like a bitter old without making seem like a Gero rip off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30FblI8S4N0 More toned down old man voice.

I think you'll have to work on your voice acting skills mate.

Yeah I'm not really that good. I really should go to acting class or something.

If thats your thing go for it! No use sitting around thinking about so if u wanna professionally put your take of Lychee out there reach for the stars and go to that acting class! I'm learning to draw with my uni course at the moment so who knows we might be famous in own fields if we get out there and just go for it.

I didn't think your acting was that bad. It was more the voice. You sounded like you had a pasty stuck in your larynx. :P

Yeah one of the reasons its so short is because I felt like I was about to throw up. I think I might have to strengthen my Vocal Chords up. Also I noticed that nobody watched my second take. Its pretty different from the first take.

There's two takes? I think something's wrong with the links.

Love your second take of Lychee. I don't see it as a Gero rip-off at all, I will however need a good 7 second clip of Gero speaking to confirm this ethier from Z or GT.

When I was saying I was trying to make him not sound like Gero I was talking about both takes. Though it does remind me a bit of his Japanese voice.

Much better. Doesn't sound at all like Gero to me.
