If you could create real-life Dragon Balls, would you do so?
Do you think that the benefits of the Dragon Balls outweigh the costs? When I look at the problems with Pilaf, the Red Ribbon Army, and Piccolo Daimou, I say probably not.
During the Cell saga, Goku said that he didn't want to be wished back, because he basically attracts enemies and therefore is a risk for the Earth. Are the Dragon Balls a "risk" for the Earth? If you had the option to create real-life Dragon Balls, would you do so? Do you think the benefits would outweigh the costs?

I think the benefits would outweight the costs, because hey,we dont need to tell all the people that we have the balls.

And you consider that such a power will never go out of control?

Only if I was the only one with a radar.

I already have dragon balls. There're two of them. Feel free to come "summon the dragon" and make "wishes" on them anytime you won't. And these don't take a year to come back to life.

It would be ridiculously expensive to travel the world in search of them.
So, you could get some corporation to fund this journey... but they'd want to get something from it.
So the hypothetical balls would need to have the power to grant more than one wish, so it's easy to make it into the ultimate sales-pitch.

I would not, because in the wrong hands, there can be catastrophic consequences.
Even in the story himself, God said that he was considering not resurrecting Shenlong because the Earthlings always granted wishes for their own greed (although he changes my mind because, as long as there are even a few pure people like Goku, he believes the DBs should exist).
