Nope.

The last "Ultimate Uncut Edition" DVD released was volume nine in May 2006 (covering episodes 25-27). We saw cover art for another two volumes, but those never actually saw the light of day.

I saw the DVD guide many times. I just assumed that you guys just didn't update it. You saw ads for two more of these? Please try and see if you can find the images or tell me the names of them. I'm interested in seeing what they looked like.

Was a Spanish-only version released or something? Weren't those discs trilingual?

The UUEs were trilingual.

What you have in that link is one of the Mexican-dub-only discs, which use a similar cover style. Unlike the UUEs however, they contain the video of the orange bricks.

I wish they would have canceled it after the Goku/Vegeta fight instead of right before. It would of been cool to see it in 4:3 with Nathan Johnson's music.

Ah, I see. That's confusing to say the least.

Even as a dub fan I hate those. The last couple seasons were bearable, but I think it was the first time ever I did not want to watch the namek/freeza arc due to the eye-bleeding colours.

Probably a n00bish question, but I don't watch anything other than the Japanese version. Who is Nathan Johnson? I thought Bruce Faulconer did the dub music for Funimation.

@CODii

When FUNimation went back and redubbed the old episodes Ocean originally did, they hired Nathan Johnson to make the dub music for episodes 1-67.

Yeah, he tried to do a modern take on the original Japanese score sticking to the same serious type of theme, but it didn't end up even one tenth as good.

We did? Anyone have a pic of those covers, I'd like to see them! If I'm not mistaken, I think I saw on Wikipedia one time that volume 11 would have been called "Goku's Last Shot". Anyone got confirmation on this? I never really bothered with the UUE series. I only had the first volume "Saiyan Showdown" and only because that came packaged together with DBZ Movie 13 at the Wal-Mart I bought it at.

I remember seeing that cover at my local suncoast at my Mall years ago on the coming soon section in their pre-order book that they had. I enjoy the "Ultimate Un-Cut" run back in 2005 and I even own all the figure boxes with the DVD inside that they made as well.

At least you guys got further than us Australians... we only ever got seven volumes!

Oh well, at least they gave us a nice box set for them.

As if using the orange brick transfer wasn't bad enough these discs didn't have the Spanish title cards or credits!

Yeah, I heard about that.

Which title cards and credits did they use, exactly?
