No... That's lame... They need to just release the boxsets with the movies in order.

I'd have all the Broli movies by then, so it wouldn't matter to me.

I wouldn't really want that to happen. I mean, that sounds like something FUNi would do, but I wouldn't care. The only good Brolly movie was number 8. The other two were just kind of forced out just for the heck of it (at least that's what they feel like to me :P ).

That sounds like just another idea to re-release old material with a new name to get more profit. Although in saying that, I would probably get since I am also an idiot.

I find that ironic, since the movie literally has no point to it, and a transparent plot. These qualities a good movie does not make.

Brolly is a terrible villain. Hell, Garlic jr's reason for being evil made more sense.

What doesn't make sense about an insane man that wants to kill things?

Its a plot for a horror movie, not a shounen anime.

Oh for heaven's sakes! It's not that bad a movie! It's DBZ for crying out loud, not Masterpiece Theater!

Yeah! And make drug abuse legal, since being stoned will be the only way you can enjoy such a travesty.

Actually... I deem it the worst movie, because of it's flawed plot, and horrible character development. Hell, Super Android 13 is better than it, in respect to actually giving the other androids a purpose [not unlike Broly's,] with history, even if it is shakey at best, it's still there.
[Take it from me, I hate Super Android 13 so much it's not even funny, yet I am boasting it's one good quality above.]

Hey now it couild be good, I'm nto talking Garlic Jr style here this would not be a continuation of the movies, ut rather its own thing. A Broli story done RIGHT is what I want to see.

Well you're welcome to your opinion. I however, actually enjoyed movie 8 when I first saw it on my fuzzy picture quality fansub years ago. And to tell you the truth, there isn't any DBZ movie I totally hate. There are some I like less such as movie 11, mostly because I miss seeing Goku and other important characters, but I've enjoyed all the movies at least the first time round that I saw them.

I can't speak for you, since I don't know when you saw the movie, but I feel a lot of the reason why movie 8 is trashed by fans so frequently is because Funi hyped it up so much. So people set themselves up for a letdown. I always enjoy DBZ because I watch it as an entertaining shonen series about adventure and crazy fighting, which is exactly what it always is.

Oh and I also liked the Android 13 movie aaaaand I liked the Slug movie too. Yes people, I actually loved that movie as a matter of fact. XP

I liked Movie 8 Brolli best because he wasn't screaming "Kakarrotto" all the time (I mean, he did, but not like Movies 10 and 11). He actually seemed like he had intellegence back there. If he wasn't completey crazy like in the final two I could see him as a villian in an actual arc.
On hiatus.

I'm complaining about Brolly, not the movie. His character just lacks depth. Look at all the major villains in the series. Freeza, determined to whipe out the entire Saiyan race because he's scared shitless of them. Cell, android that desires perfection. Buu, chaotic demon that got out of control. Okay, well Buu is pretty much Brolly. Hell even Slug was a more complex villain than Brolly.

All I want is a villain that has a reason for doing what he does. Not just because he's pissed off and/or wants revenge.

Exactly. In the SERIES, with dozens of chapters/episodes to develop a character. Brolli got a 40 minute movie the first time around.

70 minutes, actually.

And Broli is one of the more developed movie villians(along with Garlic Jr. and Coola). He was given a backstory and history, unlike most of the movie villains, whom only show up with little or no backstory behind them.
