Silver vs Hercule: who do you think wins? I'm going with Silver with minor trouble. Your thoughts?

Does anyone even remember Silver? Why would they even fight?

Why does anyone end up fighting? And to answer your question, Silver was the first Red Ribbon Army boss Goku beat. http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Colonel_Silver

Oh yeah I know who he is. Just asking who even remembers him, not asking who he was. But think about it: why would two side characters from two totally different time periods with no relation to each other whatsoever just start fighting out of nowhere with no real cause or reason?

You're not very familiar with the concept of a versus topic are you?

On topic: Mr. Satan defeats him if this is Manga Colonel Silver. If this is Filler Colonel Silver (it's like they decided they gave him a cool voice and since Toriyama wasn't going to really do anything with him they'd give him a few episodes of being awesome themselves) then he easily takes Mr. Satan. He took down several professional boxers like they were little kids and just calmly watched Son Goku throw a giant rock and destroy a tank with it and decided he'd be able to beat him. Filler Colonel Silver is a badarse.

that sounds like a good answer, we may have different dbz opinions but you are a cool guy!, also lately I've been wondering how Videl / Hercule would do against certain Dragon Ball Characters, such as red Ribbon Army bosses, also i might make a list of the 100 strongest humans in DBZ, does that sound like a good idea?.

Well that depends. I've seen people somehow place her at Zarbon levels and at Roshi/Tsuru-sennin/Tao Pai Pai levels, which I personally thinks is just insane. Personally I don't think she even reached Beginning of Dragonball Son Goku but that's just me. Mr. Satan is a guy who is strong by real life human standards and Videl is somewhat stronger and can use Ki. Just my view on this though.

No, I am. I apologize, though. This match up just seemed way too odd for me. But, I'll just shut up now. :P

So, wait.
Did Silver die after the end of that saga, or, what?
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

I'm pretty sure he faced the same fate as any other RR official who failed.
So he died.

And Anime Silver is awesome. He wins.

Then how would they fight if Silver is dead?

This is a hypothetical situation. That's how versus threads work. No-one's expecting Colonel Silver and Mr. Satan to ever engage in a battle.

I know, but this one seems the most silliest to me. :P

Well, it's no worse than the infamous Super Boo vs. Kid Boo, #16 vs. Super #13, Videl vs. Yamcha, etc. All of those are hypothetical situations. If you want an explanation, you could just say it's an alternate universe where the Red Ribbon Army succeeded in world domination and Mr. Satan challenged them to a battle, so they brought out Colonel Silver.

Anime silver would beat Satan with little effort. Manga wise I'm pretty sure silver didn't do anything of note and Satan is above average. Mr Satan can at least defeat some elite non ki using humans and Silver was just a regular human. So in that case I'd have to believe Mr Satan could win.

But, I don't believe I ever saw Silver in hell, throughout GT, Fusion Reborn, or anything else. There's nothing to say he is dead. He could have just as easily escaped.

I like to imagine he's living in an underground bunker somewhere with Launch
