Hmm, this looks promising.... And I wonder if that image of Janemba on the page is just for decoration or if he'd in the game perhaps?

I'd say it looks like DBZ Legends 3d!

The Japanese magazine Shounen Jump has just revealed the first images of the new game based on the series Dragonball Z.
This new action-3d game will be named DBZ sparking and will have 40-something playable characters. DBZ sparking will give more liberty than DBZ Budoakai. Unfortunately we don't know more about this game at the moment. The release-date is announced for 2005 sometime, in Japan, on PS2.

Hmm... it doesn't look different yet. Right now, it's just Budokai from behind your fighter. Hopefully as the movies leak out there'll be more seperating this game from the Budokai series than just the camera.

Perhaps it'll be a free roaming fighter. =D A bit like Virtua On from back in the day.

Or hope for a PC/GC/X-Box version. XD But that may be a tad unlikely, alas and alack.

Those screen shots look suspiciously like they were created with a touched-up Budokai 3 engine; the background, the life bars, even the character models. But in any case, this should be worth watching.

Looks good enough, but what's with that title ?

Anyways, hopefully it turns out well. A nice 3D action DBZ game would be nice... or rather, a nice 3D action DBZ game that doesn't blow (aka Sagas) would be nice :P

DAMMIT! They stole the name of my fangame!

(changes title to Dragon Ball Z: We Gotta Powaa!)

And I believe Janemba IS going to be in the game, because not only is his pic there, but also his name.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Actually, it looks like they merged Sagas with Budokai... even the graphics make me think of a Cel Shaded Sagas. I think I rather like that idea too... Sagas + Budokai + ZoE style elements.... That could actually make one hell of a game (assuming the biggest problems with Sagas are removed before the 'fusion' happens...)

I say yet again, mixing franchises is bad news.

Anyway, it strikes me like it might be another installment of Budokai, with a more 'second person' perspective camera, with an auto-focus on your oponent [possibly allowing for much larger battles, i.e. 2 oponents, etc.] and unless proven otherwise, we are expecting the first hints of a new Budokai soon for fall, aren't we?

I hope they've listened to fan requests and are remaking DBZ legends.

This game should have a world-wide release right?
I mean this looks like it could possibly be the coolest Db game yet.
If I am deprived of this there shall be some hurt people in my house  .
