I am so confused about the Kai music situation.

I am really lost here. I know the Kai music was getting accused of being a rip off of some kind so they removed it and put the old DBZ score in but this is where I'm getting lost and hopefully you guys can answer all my questions.

1. Did the entire DB Kai series air in Japan before the music got pulled? and do all DVD's and reruns have the old score now in it's place?

2. How many Kai DVD's got relased in the North America before the music got pulled? Will all upcoming DVD's now have the old music instead and are they gonna pull all the old Kai DVD's off the market and have the music replaced in those too?

This is such a sad situation.

1. No. The first 95 episodes aired with the Yamamoto score. But for the last two it was changed to Kikuchi. All the new DVD's have the Kikuchi score. Some reruns have the Kikuchi score.

2. The first 52 episodes. No one knows if they are putting the Kikuchi score in the new releases. We will have somw insight when Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 5 comes out on June 28.


It is a confusing situation. But it will be settled eventually.

Since Kai has been a failure in a lot of ways, I guess it doesn't really matter. What a shame.
