For those who have seen all or most of Dragon Ball Kai, does Future Gohan make any appearances? Like a quick prologue with scenes from the TV special as they did with Bardock or Trunks' original flash back?

No, he doesn't. However, I believe Trunks still mentions that he and Gohan are the only fighters alive in his time period.
