Japanese Fansites

Post by jochickabee » Fri Apr 22, 2005 9:35 pm

Hi all (this is my first post):

I've been surfing around Japanese sites lately. Just wanted to share with you what I thought were worth visiting, even if you don't know much Japanese.

1) Dounjinshi-parody (not the other kind) ;)

Lots of these are hilarious (and the drawings are excellent), esp if can understand a lil' Japanese. You may be able to purchase their book, if you can bypass the langauge barrier and are willing to tag on international shipping costs. I haven't tried yet.

2) General info:

Use the links page to check out other cool pages.

3) Fan art:

The one picture that's really worth checking out is Piccolo as Tonari no Totoro (2).

Anyone else have favorites they like to share?

I'm loving that doujinshii with Son Gokuu, Bardock, and Radditz eating together while dead.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Is there any way to see the doujinshi manga at a size large enough to read the dialogue?
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

A subtle reference to Dr. Slump no doubt. XD

The doujinshi was fun! I'm looking through the fansite now, she's a really good artist. *nods*

Hehe, in the ones of Goku, Burdock and Raditz, Raditz always seems to be the 'womanly' one. Amusing.

This is my favourite one so far: http://www.geocities.jp/studioyahhoy/page062.html
