How much and how many episodes in Vegeta saga 1 "Saiyan
How many episodes were released in Vegeta saga 1 "saiyan showdown" and how much is it cost in US dollars?
When is the next release?
When is the next release?
What a dissapointment
i just checked this site: http://www.animecornerstore.com/drz1sa.html and "Saiyan Showdown" only has the first 3 episodes, it costs 20 dollars. Then i saw theres "Piccolo´s plan" from episode 4 to 6, another 20 dollars, then "Into the Wild" from 7 to 9 another 20 dollars. Then "Gohan´s trial" epi 10 to 12 another 20 dollars.
So it is basically 80 dollars plus taxes for only 12 episodes?
Is this correct or am i in the twilight zone?
Wow, i guess i will wait 2 years for the whole Saga box, which will cost much less than buying 3 episodes every 2 months. I'm sad now, i was expecting 30+ or 50+ episodes per release for 50 dollars or around, i wasnt really expecting 3 episodes for 20 dollars + taxes every 2 months.
Anyways if you are a hardcore fan and have enough money, go buy them, its still nice to have a nice DBZ collection. I just dont have enough money to spend 80 dollars + taxes for only 12 episodes.

The only way you would end up paying that much is if you do not care enough to shop around online for the best bargain, and if thats the case, it's your own fault.
I can think of at least 1 site that is selling the Ultimate Uncut discs for $15 each ($24 for the Starter set) (Deep Discount DVD), and I'm sure finding a few more wouldn't be that hard.

They are making the Vegeta Saga a two part saga, as denoted by the "Vegeta Saga I" on the box set. So ultimately the first box will contain 7 discs, and possibly the second box containing 4-5 discs. I've enjoyed finally having the Japanese Uncut version, so I feel its definitely worth the money, and I don't understand where you think you could get 30+ episodes, let alone 50+ episodes, and only shell out $50. I don't think Funi has ever done anything close to being that generous.
I cannot honestly say.
I can't really say how much it would cost, but coming straight from Funi, it would probably sell for no less than $90-$100, but you could probably find it cheaper on other websites. I also wouldn't count on the set being distributed right after the first set is completed, since there still isn't a full packaged Cell Games box set. Hopefully that comes out somewhat soon.
$24 for the starter set, you mean the first 7 CDs (21 episodes) right? if so, then thats reasonable good and I'm willing to buy, but I'm not willing to pay (supposing each CD-3 episodes cost $15) $105 for the first 7 CD, 15 per each CD.Kodoshin wrote:The only way you would end up paying that much is if you do not care enough to shop around online for the best bargain, and if thats the case, it's your own fault.

Now thats in the case the "starter set" you talk about are the first seven CDs aka 21 episodes, now thats something good.
