Dragon Ball T-Shirt on TeeFury, August 20th!

TeeFury is a web site that prints a single t-shirt design every day. It's made available for purchase only on that day for $10. Most designs are pop culture-related, a few of them are completely original. This will be the very first Dragon Ball design ever printed on the site, it will only be available this August 20th. Mark August 20th on your calendar so you won't miss it! Show your support for the series so they'll print more designs! Prove that this franchise is still just as relevant as Star Wars, Doctor Who, Harry Potter etc.

It seems like DaizEX is hurting for some non-DBZ Blu-ray news... I personally think it would be super cool if this was posted as an update on the main site, just saying...

I'm really excited for this because I also think this will be artist ValHolla's first ever accepted submission by the site! This opens the flood gates to so many different possibilites... Could this spark a huge new trend on the site in general? Will TeeFury's more "seasoned" talent like WinterArtwork, Captain Ribman, Matt Dearden, or zerobriant step up to the plate and draw up some Dragon Ball designs?

And as great as ValHolla's design is, it's fairly simplistic... But wil it lead to a design on par with this level of artistry later down the road? Will this give other anime series an equal chance of being printed? Some other shirts, such as a Studio Ghibli design and another fairly innocuous anime girl design have been printed before, but this is still relatively new territory for the site. What does the future have in store?

So many exciting things to think about... I'm really curious to hear from everyone here how they perceive this development on a social level. Is this a step in the right direction as far as Dragon Ball becoming less "stigmatized" and more palatable to the mainstream in general? I've seen plenty of official DBZ tees in my day, and most of them look dreadfully gaudy and the people wearing them seem to be (sometimes unfairly) stereotyped a lot in general.... Could stuff like this ending up on "trendy" sites like TeeFury help change that?

When I have some time, I want to design a DB-themed sports-mascot kind of shirt.

Something like the Orange Star High School Fighting Dragons or something, and have Shenlong as part of the logo.

I'd love to see something involving Mr. Satan's Dojo, unfortunately that name would probably have to be swapped out for Hercule... How about some mock posters of various Tenkaichi Budokai match-ups? Red Ribbon Army propoganda shirts? Humorous fusion results from silly pairs of combatants? The possibilities are practically endless...

I totally get where you're coming from, it's much more subtle than most actual Dragon Ball apparel. Why can't bigger corporate licensors come up with great stuff like this? The higher-ups in the field of graphic/pop culture clothing could definitely learn a thing or two from sites like TeeFury.

Hey, since we both live in Maryland we may just run into each other wearing this shirt! How crazy would that be? I'll be sure to ask if you go by "Drabaz" if I ever do meet any dudes wearing this! I've spotted other TeeFury shirts "out in the wild" as well so I can't wait to see this too!

Haha that would be crazy! I always geek out whenever I see somebody wearing Dragonball shirts. Except I've only ran into people like that about 5 times in my life lol.

just 9 hours 40 minutes to go hows about we, the people buying this shirt take a picture of us wairing the shirt and make a collage of sorts to support ValHolla and Teefury. this will maybe show them that Dragonball has a big fanbase thats willing to spend there money on these shirts and they'll make more
