Well, Majin Boo was completely immune to a box of chocolates that Mr. Satan had poisoned.

Freeza? No. Cell and Boo? Yes.
Forgot about the poison chocolate.

Majin Boo yes, but he is a magical being.
Freeza and Cell no. But probably they still are very resistant to it.

Re: Do you think Freeza,Cell and Majin-Buu are immune to poi
Considering that Cell has insect DNA and that some insects are resistant to poison then I'd say maybe. Even though he was bitten or poisoned he could rip off limbs to stop the poison to spread.
Freeza could be resistant to "our" poisons but could be hurt by substances that don't hurt us, since he is an alien after all.
But all in all considering that since Toriyama didn't bring it up and Goku could die from a heart virus, I'd bet that Cell and Freeza could too.
Buu on the other hand doesn't have any real tissue, so I guess that he couldn't be poisoned. We see Fat Buu being immune to it too, like said earlier in this thread.

I find it extremely unlikely that Gero wouldn't take measures to prevent the possibility of someone tossing a bacteria colony at Cell and killing him like that. Cell would likely be resistant to everything it was possible to make him resistant to.

Not unless they're part Steel.

Considering Cell is partially cybernetic, he may be able to withstand any kind of poison or such.

Re: Do you think Freeza,Cell and Majin-Buu are immune to poi
Buu is (and even if he wasn't, his regeneration is of such a ridiculous level that it wouldn't matter.) He'd also most likely be immune to diseases, and... well, just about everything else. He's Buu.
Cell would probably be effectively immune to any poison you could throw at him, between his regeneration, being so strong, and being made up of a combination of so many weird things (and possibly some mechanical parts, I'm not sure of the exact composition of Cell... though Perfect Cell at least would have some mechanical stuff from the Androids.) Even if you did manage to find a poison that would be effective on Cell, he'd just be able to regenerate from all the damage (or even pull the affected part off and grow it back.) Sort of like how chemotherapy works on cancer--yes, it does kill a lot of the cancer, but most of the time a little bit survives and the whole thing can grow back if you miss just a little bit. Except Cell grows back much faster and gets Saiyan near-death boosts, so... yeah, poisoning Cell probably isn't the best idea. Diseases would probably be the same way--yeah, Goku could have died from a heart virus, but Goku also can't regenerate his heart in a matter of seconds.
Freeza is a fairly ordinary living creature (in comparison to Cell and Buu), so he probably isn't outright immune to poisons. Of course, his species is known for being able to survive absurd amounts of damage (getting cut in half and still fighting, just needed a little extra energy! and then a planet blew up on him and he's STILL not dead!) and can survive in outer space for extended periods of time. What might be a strong poison for an ordinary human--or even a decently strong human, like Dragonball/early DBZ guys--might just be like a cold or a mild flu for somebody like Freeza. Diseases would probably work the same way--something fatal for a human would probably make him sick (if it can infect his species at all), but wouldn't be nearly as big of a deal... if he caught something like Goku's heart virus though, he'd probably be in trouble (again, if that particular virus can even infect Freeza's species in the first place.)

Despite absorbing no.17 and no.18, Cell still called himself an android/cyborg/whatever created by Dr. Gero.
But just by looking at Cell you can somewhat tell. The connection of his limbs appear to be some kind of elastic material. Not to mention his body as a whole, for me it appear to be made of plastic or silicone.

He resembles an insect with an exoskeleton to me. I don't know about plastic or silicon :l .Fox666 wrote:

I see what you did there.Cipher wrote:Not unless they're part Steel.
In all seriousness, I'd have to agree with what others are saying. Boo is almost certainly immune to all kinds of poison since he's magic. Cell would likely be either resistant or immune to most poisons since he's genetically engineered. Freeza probably isn't immune, but he might be affected differently by poison. Since he's an alien, he might find different things poisonous, but others would be harmless. After all, dogs are poisoned by chocolate, so it wouldn't be a stretch of the imgaination to say that something mundane like that could poison him, where as something potent to us, like arsenic, might not affect him at all.
Re: Do you think Freeza,Cell and Majin-Buu are immune to poi
Well, he calls himself a "jinzo-ningen", which literally translates to "man-made human". Regardless of the common usage of the word (a human-shape robot, ie "android"), Cell is an artificially created humanoid, so the term does describe him perfectly well (unlike 17 and 18, who are man-modified humans rather than man-made).Fox666 wrote:Despite absorbing no.17 and no.18, Cell still called himself an android/cyborg/whatever created by Dr. Gero.

It depends on poison. There are some types that affects nearly all living creatures, but they are usually too dangerous and too expensive to use it.Godo wrote:Considering that Cell has insect DNA and that some insects are resistant to poison then I'd say maybe.
As most here wrote I think that Frieza would be the most fragile of all of them. Boo is out of the question, but Cell is interesting- did he take just advantages from his ancestors or dr. Gero couldn't/forget about eliminate some cons?

Re: Do you think Freeza,Cell and Majin-Buu are immune to poi
I don't know about poisons, but I'd think that all of the main characters of DBZ are heavily resistant to disease, Saiyans included. Freeza is a member of a race that traverses the galaxy, planet to planet, doing business and conquering civilizations. And Freeza seemed to have absolutely no protocol whatsoever when dealing with the alien topology (and consequent microbiology) of a planet as alien to his species as Namek - or Earth. This would lead me to believe that he has a very robust immunology at the very least, and likely Cell (as a result of his descent) and the Saiyans (for the same reasons as Freeza) as well. It's also likely that any planet which required a force like Freeza's to conquer would be developed enough to have an in-depth capacity for chemical and biological warfare, yet we've never seen that.
Now, I'm aware of Goku's heart virus. But being very robustly defended against disease isn't necessarily the same thing as total immunity by biological fiat.

Weren't they inside Buu and he had an entire working body? I think when he gets decomposed that all becomes the same material, but when he rebuilds himself it transforms back into the tissue it once was.Godo wrote:Considering that Cell has insect DNA and that some insects are resistant to poison then I'd say maybe.
