Bulma vs Freeza

Post by Leotaku » Sun Sep 18, 2011 3:49 pm

Eh...I couldn't think of a better title.

Sometimes I get a little tired of seeing the same matchups (like ones that actually happened/recreated from the series) or the same characters (Saiyans), so I like to make stuff up now and then. I don't really care if it makes canonical sense or not. I'm not sure I presented it clearly enough, but what's happening here is that Bulma grabbed Freeza's horns, pulled his head toward her, and kneed him in the face, knocking him away and breaking his horns off. Krillin would've appreciated this.
This was unintentional but I noticed that I've drawn Freeza losing two times, and they were both against women. The first time was against Chi-Chi, who sliced him in two.

That's great!
I like that you drew it in your own style rather than imitate Toriyama's.

Boob! I loved to realize that those kunais in Bulma's hands are actually Freeza's horns.

I don't remember so many mushrooms on Namek. Great job by the way. Loving the under boob on Bulma.

If this were an actual scene/animation, I would've liked to have her use them against him.

Haha, yeah. I was looking at a reference to draw the background. There probably weren't that many, but I just threw them in where I needed to use up some space.

Maybe for Freeza's sake. :P

Good choice actually, since the mushrooms don't stick out too much and seem more or less like the natural fauna of Namek (consisting of tough and resilient life-forms being able to live through drought and catastrophies).

Regarding the piece itself, nice work. It's both awesome and well drawn. I wish I had that talent too.
May I ask wether you use a tablet or if you put in your scetches in Photoshop and finish the drawings later? Or are they made without a computer?

I draw all my stuff with pencil on paper, then I scan it in and colour it in GIMP (free program). I used to use Photoshop, but that was on my old computer before it got messed up.

Her face seems a little big for her body, but the rest of her looks good and the pose and action are great. Very God of War, I'm expecting the minotaur death struggle to come next with her holding the horns like that.

As for the Chichi pic....*swoon*

Yeah, it is a little big. Thanks for mentioning it to me.

Nah. But by that logic, it would seem I hate Gohan more since I've had him losing the most out of any other character. I've had him on the losing end a whopping SEVEN times.

Zephyr: Thanks.
