Mark Menza's DBZ Movie 6 Score
Anyone else feel that his work in this movie is leagues above his later stuff? I absolutely love the opening and ending songs he composed!

Re: Mark Menza's DBZ Movie 6 Score
I will agree that I still like to listen to those OP/ED themes from time to time, and I'll also agree that I remember Menza's score for that movie fitting pretty decently as well (it also helped that the dub script for Movie 6 was rather accurate to the original.)
But almost everything else he's done (especially for Movie 7 & GT) was pretty lackluster. Movie 7's dub score was so bland I fell asleep watching the dub of that. Same for GT (and GT can be rather sleep-inducing as is.)

Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Always liked Menza's movie 6 score, especially that piece that played at the end when Vegeta and Goku were falling from the sky.

I wasn't thrilled with it at first because Movie 6 felt like the one movie the Faulconer dub score could have fit perfectly with. However, looking back, it was actually pretty good. Too bad he started on a high point and had nowhere to go but down from there.
