Censorship In The Original Japanese Version

I'm aware that Kai's footage was "censored" in several scenes even in the original Japanese version, which is to say that certain scenes were changed from the way they were originally shown in DBZ. The removal of baby Goku's genitals, the less-blood Makankosappo, etc...

But honestly, I stopped keeping track of the censorship in the original Japanese version after the Makankosappo in episode 3. What are some examples of post-Makankosappo censorship in the Japanese version?

I haven't watched Kai since Imperfect Cell's first appearance, so I can only remember a few off the top of my head...

Gohan's beating from Recoome was partially reanimated so he wasn't coughing up blood anymore.

I believe Kuririn getting impaled by Freeza was truncated quite a bit (not only because of the "manga accuracy"), but because the scene is much more violent in the anime.

Kuririn blasting Vegeta was redrawn so there was less bleeding from his wound.

I *think* they redrew Vegeta's beating from Freeza so he coughs up less blood, but I could be wrong.

Another huge factor is the time slot of Kai compared to Z, I guess

Z aired on Wednesday evenings as far as I know, and Kai airs on Sunday morning.

- When Freeza elbows Goku in the face after powering up to 50% his blood is changed to spit.
- When Cell comes back and blasts Trunks in the chest the blood he coughs up while lying on the ground is removed.
- When #18 knees Vegeta in the gut blood is changed to spit.
- I've heard there was a lot removed from episode 50.

If I had to speculate, I'd say (as mentioned) the different time slot, and the fact that there's much more of a global standard for television content with all the international re-airings that happen now. Media from any non-Western country was dealing with a much smaller sphere twenty years ago than it would now.
