Dragon Ball Z Kai Season 1 Discussion

Since this set comes out next week I'm wondering who got it from Rightstuf? If so I have questions.

1. Whose score is it Yamamoto's or Kikuchi's? I remember reading that someone emailed FUNi, and they said Kikuchi, but these may be repacks of the old parts like the new One Piece collections are.
2. Are the versions of Dragon Soul still sung by Sean Schemmel & Justin Cook or is it someone else?
3. In episode 1 did Chris Ayres redub Freeza's laugh or is it still Linda Young?

Could you post pictures of the set/covers/discs? If there even are any smaller covers inside, who knows, this may be like the One Piece collections and just com in a regular DVD sized package.

I'm pretty much going to order my set off of Amazon next week. I hate myself for doing this but I want a consistent score for Kai.

I'm so happy they are going to make the Kai releases into Season sets.... Do not understand why they still put out 'Parts/1.1' Can't wait un till they put out the Dragon Ball Z Blu-ray's into season sets as well.

I don't have it yet, but I am pretty sure it is already confirmed to be the Kikuchi score.

Sorry to disappoint but, my PS3 died. I'm not gonna be able to watch these for a while. I'm probably gonna be getting a PS3 sometime in November since I'm moving, I have some expenses to take care of first. But, I'll do what I can (which isn't much) without seeing what's on the discs...

Episode list. Do the different colors mean a different disc? I'm gonna guess - yes? The episodes aren't printed on the discs and this list has no mention on what disc to find a batch of episodes, so....?

Well, it's incredibly small, but that shot of the text down the bottom does include a "Music: Shunsuke Kikuchi" in there!

Looks like it's time for me to double dip on the Saiyan arc again!

Yeah. From what I can see, they have the same disc case, way of listing episodes, outer cardboard sleeve...

I'mma buy all the DVD sets. (Gradually, of course)

To be honest, I prefer Yamamoto for Kai. So I'm good not replacing my sets. The only thing I'm curious about is if Chris Ayres is gonna be the one doing Freeza in ep 1 now.

I am also wondering if they fixed that gender thing going on with the grand elder in the Namek saga that Chris failed to fix before initial dvd/bd release.

Wouldn't place too much stock into it. I'm honestly thinking the only change will be the BGM.
