Funimation Singles Deinterlaced found a way

This maybe worthless now that the Dragon Box Z's are available, but I'm going to share it with everyone anyway. I've been doing some tinkering with Handbrake's setting on the Funimation Singles and I found out how to just about totally deinterlace the video. Here are the settings, first you go to video filters> detelecine and hit the custom setting and set it to 2 (at least that's the number I use) then go to Video> Framerate and set the framerate to 23.976. Next go to advanced and set ref frames, max b-frames to 3, tick on all the check boxes, set Subpixel ME & Mode Decision to 7, and that should do it. I don't condone this for stealing, just as a way to get rid of that nasty interlacing that plagues these singles. Btw this in no way makes the video anywhere near a good as the dragon boxes, but for people with only the singles as an option or just don't want to buy the Dragon Boxes because they don't have the money or some volumes are not available, this is a good option.

...Yeah I think almost everybody who does video encoding knows how to IVTC. Nothing about what you said is particularly noteworthy.

I figured that, this was more for the layman, not the experts.
