My first Budokai 3 Playthrough.

Post by masterz13 » Wed Dec 14, 2011 9:46 pm

Picked it up at GameStop for $8 during their big PS2 sale last week, and I have to say it's amazing. It may not be HD, but I love the art style and RPG elements (leveling up, using capsules in battle, etc). I was flying around as Vegeta, blew up East City, and then he said he could use the money and stole a sack of Zenie. xD

The story mode is really good...when you go through it for the first time...

Hope you enjoy regardless. It's perhaps the most polished PS2 DBZ game.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

It's better the second time, when you get to have alternate endings ;)
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Indeed.
Personally I wish there were more alternate paths.

True enough.... But still found it incredibly repetitive especially after playing it for the first time in years.

And more GT characters. I liked having Super Yi Xing Long, but it just feels to sudden, in my opinion. Oob needed his older form, too, so he could use ki attacks (other than just his "Ki Cannon").

When this game came out I believe GT wasn't even airing in the US; that or it had just started. So this game was like the GT teaser with more emphasis on the movie characters. If you pick up Infinite worlds, you will see a lot more GT characters then in B3.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

It should have. By the time B3 was released here in Australia all but the first 16 episodes had aired.

I recall being familiar with "Syn Shenron", but wondering why he had the Dragon Balls embedded in his chest on the disc's cover. So yeah, GT was definitely airing in the US at the time of Budokai 3's domestic release.

According to what I've looked up the Evil Dragon arc finished airing in June 2004 on Cheez TV- Channel 10 here in Australia.
