Buyer Beware: My experience buying from Josh

Alright, I tried resolving this a few times, and when the ball ended up in his court...nothing. Cost me $25, which isn't that big a deal, but still...

I paid back in August, kept trying to work with him...he never did anything. Last time I heard from him was January, when he was gonna mail it again (he sent it to the wrong address originally). Now that address isn't even valid anymore.

Just wanted to warn people, I dunno if this was just a freak occurance, but...

No offence but could you perhaps give some more informations about this person? What was he selling to you, exactly?

Josh (http://db.schuby.org/daizex/profile.php ... rofile&u=2) owns this board, or is an administrator on some level, and he was selling some items last August (http://db.schuby.org/daizex/viewtopic.p ... highlight=). The one I bought was a Daizenshuu, and a wallscroll for movie 9. I paid via Western Union online, he received the payment (for $25), and apparently mailed it to the wrong address...I contacted him later, no reply. I tried again, and finally in January got a hold of him after I posted a thread which he promptly closed (http://db.schuby.org/daizex/viewtopic.p ... highlight=) saying I never PM'd him, despite my having proof that I did in the form of my PM outbox. He stated he was away at college, but going back home "in a day or two" and would mail them...never happened.

Like I said, it's not a shitload of cash, but still it pisses me off. I tried to resolve this to no avail. So, I just wanted to tell people to be careful. And I'm not doing it to be a dick.

Um, you might find the only admins here are Mike and Julian, not this Josh person, he may of claimed to be but trust me he's not.

I think he's the one that actually runs this board though, as in just hosting it.

Mike and Julian run the place, yes, but Josh is *the* admin. Hence why he's got an over-sized avatar that's not been removed.
