Who is your favorite Dragon Ball GT character?
Most of us know Dragon Ball GT wasn't nearly as great when compared to the legend that was Dragon Ball Z, and for most of us our favorite characters originate from the original DB or Z sagas. But all of us have to have at least liked one character that was introduced in the GT saga, even if you've never watched it. So which one is your favorite and why?
For me it would have to be Baby Vegeta, most specifically his final form. I don't exactly know why but something about his character design intrigues me. He has that 'bad-ass' look and just the fact that he's based off Vegeta (well he is Vegeta), who is pretty much a bad-ass in the series. I also see him as a little crazy, i mean there were crazy villains before GT, many of them, but something sticks out. I guess it's because he's a top villain, like Frieza or Cell, but they weren't crazy, they were something like 'gentlemen'. Buu was, but his character design never drew me into liking him much. How he died was pretty epic aswell, being blasted into the sun beats being cut up into little pieces, or just plain being blasted (well that's pretty much just my opinion i'm throwing here).

Super 17 and Uub are the best, but i also love General Rilldo.
I like Super 17,because, his design is fantastic,i love characters with long hair and honestly he looks much more imponent
than the regular A-17,plus,the concept behind Super 17,ie,Dr Gero +Dr Myuu technology is very interesting.
I like Uub precisely, because, basically, he is kid Buu with an human body.
I really enjoyed the way he fought Goku,he had the same emotional reactions as kid Buu,etc, etc.

I fall into the fairly typical trend of favorite GT characters, so I don't think I need explanations as they are probably the same as everyone else who likes them.
The SS4's, Bebi and then San, Si and Yi Xing Long.

1. Tenkaichi 3 Custom Two Gogeta SSJ4:

Gogeta SSJ4 looks so freaking awesome like this and powered up he's even more powerful than before.
2. Official Gogeta SSJ4 GT:

I love Gogeta SSJ4's design, so nicely drawn, however, my Gogeta SSJ4's design is Custom 2's from Tenkaichi 3.
3. Bebi

Reason? Reminds me of Majin Boo but instead of pink colour he's blue and a chocolate looking character I'd like to eat.
4. Omega Shenron

If Omega Shenron went instead of Lord Freeza to Planet Namek and impaled Kuririn, Kuririn would've suffered a lot more than he did with Lord Freeza.
Cool look why I like this figure.
Vegeta SSJ4 looks so weird and off to me, while Goku SSJ4 does keep a great character design.
So yeah, Gogeta SSJ4 is my favourite.

Trunks hands down. It just gives me one of those many excuses to laugh at GT
and then I get sad.

Re: Who is your favorite Dragon Ball GT character?
Loving all the GT discussion coming out now that I'm re-watching it heh.
Let's see...two of mine are technically from Z, but they're much more fleshed out in GT.
1) Pan - Whereas most people find her really annoying, I love Pan to bits. And it's always struck me as a bit weird that some of the reasons people list for disliking her...are present in pretty much EVERY Dragon Ball female. She's the first major female character to actually get some major fighting focus, which is nice, and I just find he personality adorable.
2) Oob - I liked Oob even just seeing him in the end of Z. I've always liked the idea of Goku finally actually finding someone to pass the torch down to, because he won't always be there - it's just a pity that idea gets botched so badly in GT.
3) Gill - How can you not like this little guy? He's just adorable.
And not really characters so much as ideas but...
4) Super Saiyan 4 (design) - It's nice to see a callback to the oozaru form again, and a new look for a Super Saiyan form. That and, it lends itself really well to imagining what a Super Saiyan 5 would look like outside of the fan designs that have existed for ages now.
5) The Shadow Dragons - After the hinting at the end of Z about how overusing the Dragon Balls could lead to bad things, I like seeing it played out. Just wish it was executed better in-show though.

I liked Oob because he was just sort of there at the end of Z, so GT was an opportunity to flesh him out a bit. Same applies for Pan really.
Hey! Check out my YouTube Channel! I talk about Dragon Ball quite a lot. www.youtube.com/nessmudkipz

I loved seeing "future" age trunks in the timeline...that was cool, I hated how little use he was able to be after the dragon ball search, then again, I wont go talking about GT's monumental problems anyways heh.
Uub, eh, I hated the majuub fuse so much, I felt like what was a great chance to expand on a character we really didnt know too well was wasted. But at least he did stuff.
And I actually liked Gill a lot.

I like Nova shenron and Ice shenron

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Baby Vegeta's final human form is badass!
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

I'de probably have to go with Super 17 since Android 17 was already one of my favourite characters. He's just so cool looking.
Honourable mentions would go to Omega Shenron, Nova Shenron and Uub. I liked their designs.

1) Yi Xing Long
2) Baby
3) Gogeta
Yi Xing Long, because he has awesome powers, Baby cecause he has awesome transformations, and Gogeta because he looks awesome as a SSJ4.

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Baby Vegeta.
Re: Who is your favorite Dragon Ball GT character?
No love for Gill/Giru? I've always thought he was a legitimately enjoyable late-game addition to the main cast. And Mr. Satan aside, when was the last time we had a major character who didn't fight? That's pretty cool.
Other than that, there are a lot of one-off villains I enjoy in GT for the unique abilities they bring to the series. Rilldo, Mutchi-Mutchi, the early Evil Dragons, etc.
I feel pretty much the same way toward Baby as I do toward Cell. Very entertaining in his early appearances just by virtue of how creepy he is. After that, my interest starts to wane.

The Evil Dragons- All of them
Gill
Rild
Redjic
Baby- especially his first and second forms (infact all of his forms except that final one he appears in after escaping Vegeta's body)

It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.
Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.
