The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

And if you're talking about the Japanese Dragon Boxes, well...do you have $500-100 lying around somewhere? You can find those on eBay, too.

Re: Which Dragon Box?
I've been seeing the Dragon Ball GT Dragon Box for under $400.00 lately. I thought it was a great deal, then I remembered it was DBGT.Corporate_Nothing wrote:And if you're talking about the Japanese Dragon Boxes, well...do you have $500-100 lying around somewhere? You can find those on eBay, too.
Hell, this one is $255.00 BIN!

The Japanese Z boxes tend to go for 4-500$ nowadays. Which means, amusingly enough, that it's actually cheaper to buy the first Japanese box than the equivalent Funi boxes.Corporate_Nothing wrote:And if you're talking about the Japanese Dragon Boxes, well...do you have $500-100 lying around somewhere? Re: Which Dragon Box?
Oh God they really go for that much xD no wonder that guy was happy to buy them from me. I was really hoping to sell them to someone on here but everyone already bought parts(the cheapest parts) I'm sure you could find them pop up for cheaper than that and sealed.

The original Dragon Boxes are getting strangely cheap yet the FUNi could surpass in terms of price.Adamant wrote:The Japanese Z boxes tend to go for 4-500$ nowadays. Which means, amusingly enough, that it's actually cheaper to buy the first Japanese box than the equivalent Funi boxes.
Dragon Box - Dragon Ball - the complete series on one box and specialsKuriza510 wrote:What box contains what?
Dragon Box Z - features Dragon Ball Z on two box parts and also comes with 2 TV-Specials, 1 OVA and extras.
Dragon Box GT - Dragon Ball GT on one box with three books (discs inside).
Dragon Box TM - The Movies on one box also.
The FUNi Dragon Box Z contains only one special, DBGT FEP and trailers.

Re: Which Dragon Box?
You're obviously not looking in the right places, they can be found cheaper than that. Hell, I think I overpaid for my Vol.2 of Z. I've been seeing it in the 300-400 range on YJ.Corporate_Nothing wrote:And if you're talking about the Japanese Dragon Boxes, well...do you have $500-100 lying around somewhere? Re: Which Dragon Box?
I think he might have meant combined, $500-$1000.
Re: Which Dragon Box?
Now that sounds about right. If someone buys all the boxes today, they could easily be bought for less than 1500 on YJ. They eBay prices are just ridiculous.Pokewhiz7 wrote:I think he might have meant combined, $500-$1000.

Re: Which Dragon Box?
I was specifically referring to the eBay prices in the US, which, as Krycek7o2 said, are pretty outrageous.Pokewhiz7 wrote:I think he might have meant combined, $500-$1000.

Re: Which Dragon Box?
When I said $500-1000, I meant that to be seen a price range. In other words, on eBay.com, nearly every Dragon Box (whether DB, DBZ Vol.1 & 2, DBGT, or The Movies) usually sells for BETWEEN $500 and $1000, but as other posters have mentioned in this thread, you can find them available for much cheaper if you know where to look.Kuriza510 wrote:No I mean what number is the GT one and what number is the DB one?

Re: Which Dragon Box?
Uh, you might be a little confused. They don't have numbers on them. Well, they do but, these are (in the pictures above) the Japanese region 2 DVDs. Not what FUNimation released here.Kuriza510 wrote:No I mean what number is the GT one and what number is the DB one?
The only numbers on these sets are on the side of the cases inside the box holding the DVDs for the DB and DBZ box sets.
The only Dragon Box released here in the U.S was the DBZ series.
