Chilled Voice Test

This is an audition/voice test of Chilled for UltimateGokuX's EoB fandub. I did a take of him based on Chris Ayres' Freeza and Ryusei Nakao's. Since Mr. Nakao uses a nearly identical voice for Chilled as he did for Freeza. But, that's basically what my Freeza voice has become too, taking elements from both Freeza's.

I didn't add SFX, and I chose a few lines with different ideas of emotion so I could do a different range of them. And, psycho laughs are fun.

Enjoy!

I like it very much! The laugh is epic

The laugh is neat, but you overdo it at parts. Too bad you don't have a better mic, too.

Thank you! It helps that the mic I have I can hear what I'm inputting, so it was easy to try and get something close to Mr. Nakao's laugh while not being a total carbon copy.

I have a new mic as of this recording, any since January 14th. Well, the one's that weren't re-uploaded from a previous account. I probably should tone down the input volume and move back a bit when doing this. But, compared to the Android 17 dub, this is a different and better mic. I can actually hear what I'm putting in, which is why the laugh is how it is. Yeah, looking at it now I overdo parts; but, if he does choose me for Chilled, I can improve on that.

Definitely not a copy. I really like it, it's awesome.

Time to go and get a new mic I guess?

This is my new mic, I had the Blue Snowflake for about 3 years and now have the Samson Meteor, I probably just gotta play with the settings, haha.

Yeah, those are always fun to do. Between that and the Death Note parodies/dubs, I think I've adjusted to it, haha.

Well, I amde that comemnt without re-watching it... The mic is fine just be careful when talking loud with volume though that is not a problem in this video at all. I'm looking into the Neumann U87. Industry standard and records well when screaming is recorded.

Fairly expensive though... I use the Yeti Blue which is decent.
