How much did you make from your Season Bricks?
Just out of morbid curiosity, for those of you who sold your Season Sets, how much money did you make off of them? I'm considering selling my Blue, Orange, & Green Bricks in one sale and was wondering what's a reasonable asking price? I'm not expecting Dragon Box prices lol.
"Hey girlfriend, why don't you throw a few more punches? Afraid you might break a nail or somethin?"

This isn't my auction, but the entire collection of Season Sets sold for $275 in this recent eBay auction, all in brand new condition. I just added them all to my shopping cart in Amazon, and the subtotal came out to $325.84 (also brand new, of course). So...if your sets are all in "Like New" condition, I'd suggest you sell them all for a total price of somewhere around $250.
It's been done countless times before, but...

Bought the first one for $29.99 and sold it for $15 months later.

I sold my DBZ season sets on craigslist and received somewhere between $150-$165. I don't remember the exact amount but it fell within that range. At the time funimation had just announced the dragon box sets and I was planning to use that money to purchase them... I have yet to purchase a single dragon box. Who knows if I ever will.

It depends on where you'll sell them at.
On eBay I'm sure you could get well over 250, if in near mint condition.
A few days ago I ended up buying each season set for DB and GT for a buck each at an E-Z Pawn. For less than ten bucks I picked them up! They were having a $1 DVD Box set clearance!

I gave all 9 to a buddy for $50. It wasn't about making money though, I needed to make space and I've been collecting the Dragon Boxes and Kai. I like the dub score but not enough to justify keeping the bricks up on my shelf. Especially when I have three other versions of the same show.

When I heard about the Dragon Box release, I ended up taking mine to a local pawn shop and got $6 per box. They gave me $1 per disc, so yea... ended up getting about $25 for my Orange Bricks 1-4. Luckily I stopped buying them before I realized how terrible they were, and when I later found out, I was obviously glad I hadn't completed the series on this crap-tastic release.
Looking back, it was so strange how I was unaware of the Japanese version, and basically didn't care to watch it at all. It wasn't until I read the manga and saw the vast difference in dialogue, that I knew the Japanese version had to be superior in every way. Even at age 17, I was quite the newb when it comes to the true Dragon Ball experience. I'm just glad I stumbled upon the manga volumes at a Barnes n' Noble and began to understand the true Dragon Ball experience, volume by volume...
