To Buy or Not to Buy Dragon Boxes 6 and 7?
So basically the Dragon Boxes are disappearing pretty quickly now and the only Dragon Boxes that are available for a fair price are Dragon Boxes 6 and 7. Now I personally would really like to own more Dragon Boxes but I also plan on picking up "seasons" 7 and 8 of the Orange Bricks just so I can jump around with the audio tracks since I enjoy the Faulconer score for the Buu arc. This would mean that I'd probably hardly ever watch the Dragon Boxes if I purchased them, but I'd still like to own them. Problem is that I don't have a lot of money that I can use to buy the series as many times as I want.
So what's your take? Should save up the money for the DBoxes just for the rarity and picture quality, or should I leave them for a fan that'd probably watch them on a regular basis?

Well, since you're not going to watch them often and neither got all 7 Dragon Boxes Z, I don't see much use for you to have them. So.. Skip it.
But eh, it's up to you.
I thought about buying the DBZ Levels but they were cancelled and I hate incomplete collections so didn't bother and nor am I getting the Kai seasons as I own 1-7 ( missing 8 ).
The music in Kai's 1-4 was better, any ways.

Personally if you would really like to own the DBOX's I'd get them first and then save for the orange brick's since even if you won't watch them the DBOX's are a good investment if the need to sell them arises.DragonBoxZTheMovies wrote:So basically the Dragon Boxes are disappearing pretty quickly now and the only Dragon Boxes that are available for a fair price are Dragon Boxes 6 and 7. If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out.

If you already own the first 5 boxes, then you should complete your set. The Dragon Boxes are disappearing... the orange bricks aren't going anywhere. Keep that in mind.
I have a Dragon Ball collection of sorts which can be seen here.

Dude, complete your Dragon Box collection. A year from now you'll be stoked that you have them when they're all gone for good. Plus you could always sell them down the line for big bucks if you don't mind not having the complete collection, and are satisfied with your Boo saga orange bricks.
I get that you prefer the Faulconer score, but If I were you I would have all 7 Dragon Boxes as a collective piece on my shelf, and your orange bricks for your viewing pleasure.

If I remember correctly, he's said before that he only has the third box. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, the Kikuchi score is my preferred BGM track up until the Buu arc, so yeah, I'm quite annoyed about that since I would've gladly picked up the first 5 without hesitation.dprez wrote:I get that you prefer the Faulconer score, but If I were you I would have all 7 Dragon Boxes as a collective piece on my shelf, and your orange bricks for your viewing pleasure.
Yeah, that's correct.Pokewhiz7 wrote:If I remember correctly, he's said before that he only has the third box. I could be wrong though.
Right now, I kinda just wanna see the whole series, which is why I'm in this predicament, but for those who've said that the Orange Bricks aren't going anywhere have a good point.
Thanks for all the help guys!

Actually I have a similar question, wondering if I should get Boxes 5-7, as such I plan on getting Kai Seasons 1-4 and go from there.

Re: To Buy or Not to Buy Dragon Boxes 6 and 7?
I'd recommend getting Dragon Boxes 6 and 7. They'll be worth a lot in the future and you should get your hands on them if you can. The orange bricks will be around for a long time, you'll be able to get them whenever you want.
That awkward moment when you accidentally make the of in your username start with a capital O.
Re: To Buy or Not to Buy Dragon Boxes 6 and 7?
There's probably someone out there who would value them more than you. If you don't really want them, and they're becoming rarer and rarer, I'd say leave it. It's best not to be greedy.
