Battle Point Unlimited question
Battle Point Unlimited question
Given that this is one of the most infamous allegations of plagiarism wrt DBZ's music, did Toei remove this piece from the original Kikuchi score, and if so, what did they replace it with?

It was not replaced, but on all the new CDs it has been taken off.Hades wrote:Given that this is one of the most infamous allegations of plagiarism wrt DBZ's music, did Toei remove this piece from the original Kikuchi score, and if so, what did they replace it with?
Re: Battle Point Unlimited question
As far as I know, it hasn't been released on any CDs except for DBZ Hit Song Collection VI. It wasn't included even on the Chou-zenshuu CD Box, which contains almost all of the DBZ songs, released way before the scandal.Pokewhiz7 wrote:It was not replaced, but on all the new CDs it has been taken off.

Re: Battle Point Unlimited question
The collection releases simply didn't include any of the songs that did not have any vocals.

Re: Battle Point Unlimited question
I too thought that way, but Complete Song Collection 1 and the Chou-zenshuu box include Solid State Scouter, which is an instrumental with some sampling-like voices which are different than something called vocals. Anyway, a piece of music that plays in the actual show being never re-released on any CDs feels kinda odd to me. Maybe they're just sloppy that they forgot the song though.linkdude20002001 wrote:The collection releases simply didn't include any of the songs that did not have any vocals.

Re: Battle Point Unlimited question
There's a few songs on the CDs that seem to only be there because they have voices in them (either talking, or voice samples).
