Questions About Purchasing Two Items

Post by Mr.Boo » Mon Apr 30, 2012 2:23 pm

Hey guys,

Basically I live in the UK, and was wondering if there's any way to get hold of the Kanzenban volumes all in one go? I've looked on Amazon.jp but they don't seem to ship here, so wondered if anyone else had another way of getting them, or if I'd have to buy them individually at some online shop (if so, any recommendations)? I'd also like to buy the Daizenshuu at some point.

Also, I'd like to buy all of the Dragon Boxes, and wondered if they'll play on a UK DVD player, or PS3? If not I can always buy a cheap DVD player, but would rather not :P

Thanks for any and all help,

- Dan

Edit: Should also say, I've a budget of around £150/$240 MAX, but would rather l'd rather it be more around the £100 mark.

You're looking to buy the "kanzenban" release of the manga. Mike might have something to say if you try to buy Kanzenshuu...

HAHA! Reminds me of a few years ago when someone asked where people were getting those "Kanzentais" from.

Huh, doesn't Amazon.co.jp deliver to the UK? I bought a couple of Kanzenban volumes from there and I live in New Zealand. I think it's only certain things like electrical appliances and video games that they won't ship internationally, but maybe the UK's an exception.

Anyway, there are 34 volumes in the Kanzenban form, and they're about 980 yen each on Amazon. That's nearly 260 great british pounds total. I imagine the box would be pretty huge if you ordered them all at once, too; the cost of shipping for just two volumes, for me, was about 25 pounds, so you could probably expect to pay quite a bit more with 32 more volumes thrown on top. It gets pretty pricey when you look at it like that.

There are good condition used copies for around £100 for the whole set, and I normally prefer pre-owned.
And like I said, I tried a few of the sellers on there, with no luck in terms of shipping :/ they may ship here, but maybe not those sellers.

It would be if they got shipped to me >_>
Ha, any other online sites? Even if I have to buy one at a time, I don't mind as long as I can get them.
