For years ever since I started watching DBZ, two concepts have plagued me for years. One of which is where the Ginyu Force (or some members of them) joined in the fight against Frieza and eventually becoming allies of the Z fighters themselves.
As I said, the very idea plagued me for years and i really wanted to see it come to fruition in some way, shape or form.
Just last year I discovered fanfiction.net and I have loved it ever since. So much so that I myself got into writing some fics but after about half a year that adrenaline rush has died down. I also attempted to write my idea into a fanfic but only ever completed the first chapter before losing interest in writing.
Eventually, I put the fic up for adoption and not to much later did someone adopt the fic. I had seen his previous works since he was also associated with another fanfic writer I was subscribed to so I trusted him enough.
We worked out the details, had some back and forth exchanging ideas and we were good to go.
My idea was finally born.
